I Hear You, Holy Spirit.

The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools.

Proverbs 3:35 KJV

I’ve been going through some very obvious spiritual warfare which has caused me to be so silent.

Once I get through this battle, I will be able to think more clearly  and relay the testimony He has given me.

Right now, I need this time to be quiet and listen to the Holy Spirit. I will learn for this battle and conquer it strong in the Lord. I will have a better understanding of the stronghold I am breaking and be able to help others who may face the same one.

  1. There is recorded silence in heaven. Selah means to pause and reflect – can’t do that if you’re talking, moving or distracted, can you?

Be still, know that I am God – Ps 46:10
Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. – Exodus 14:13 (a verse I have been hearing and standing on for the last few months).

  2. Two days ago after a jog I walk to huge parking lot that must have been 3 acres in circumference. There were 2 men in the distance at the entrance. After about 30 minutes of silent meditation and reflecton I got up to leave and while passing the 2 men one of them said to me, “I kept looking down there at you to make sure you were moving.” I said, “I like to find places where I can get quiet, reflect and take it all in.”

    1. We must learn how to be quiet, listen, and reflect. It’s absolutely necessary in order for us to grow in Christ. Too often, we think that we must always be the ones talking. In silence, we can hear Him instead of ourselves. Thank you for sharing that with me.
